Why Frog on a Log?

Frogs are great indicators of the health of any natural or developed environment. Scientists monitor these amphibians to see if an area is mature and stable or declining. Many of these small animals are now listed as endangered species. By applying environmentally responsible practices when creating or restoring any landscape, we can help protect the remaining frogs and even increase their numbers.

In the native traditions of the world, the frog usually symbolizes several things: the presence of rain and other cleansing waters and the transformation into adulthood. The frog is a link to our past as well as our future.

Frogs are a symbol of lazy summers and peaceful memories. Their songs remind us of our childhood, when life was simpler. Listening to frogs can be a great healing balm against our current everyday stresses.

Logs are found in abundance in untouched, natural areas. The more frogs we see on logs, the healthier the environment.

Creating your own park can be a great way to provide a more natural habitat for frogs as well as a peaceful retreat for you and your family. Our company specializes in restoring disturbed areas, recreating the pristine environments that were once there. Whether you have acreage or a small home we can help you improve your environment.
